About the property

This privately-owned home nestled in the hills of Puerto Vallarta's prestigious Conchas Chinas neighborhood. The property provides a total of 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms located in a main house and an additional Casita.

Wonderful views of the Bay and City! The homes were built in classic Vallarta style with beautiful tiles, dark wood doors, tile roof, and open living spaces.

The villa comes with a private heated pool and poolside palapa bar. Lush tropical plants surround the property with a garden pathway that wanders between the big house and the Casita. Few things in life are as pleasant as relaxing on the terraces, watching the colorful sunsets fade into the exotic, tropical nights.

The villa consists of two houses. The larger has three bedrooms, three bathrooms with showers and one half-bath off the bar. The smaller house has two bedrooms, one full bath and one half bath.

A group of 10 can comfortably stay at the villa including your small pets with an additional security deposit. The main house boasts great entertaining spaces that include a large living room and a terrace that stretches the length of the house. The pool terrace is quite large and includes a poolside bar that is covered with a Palapa roof.

Over 7,000 square feet of interior spaces and terraces make the perfect vacation retreat just minutes to the Conchas Chinas beach and downtown shops and restaurants.

From the terrace you get a view of the Bay of Banderas and the mountains. By day you can watch the sailboats skim across its emerald waters, at night the Marigalante, an old fashioned pirate ship, passes by on its evening cruise. Between these two events comes the colorful sunset for which Mexico is famous. And all of this you can experience from the privacy of your own terrace.

The terrace is a great place to start your day. With the sun just peeking over the mountains to the east and the waters of the bay sparkling in the early morning light. The terrace is also a great place to end your day, listening to the sounds of the jungle, sipping an ice-cold drink while a gentle breeze stirs in the trees. The table on the terrace will seat 12.

The kitchen is spacious and fully equiped: A full sized refrigerator, a four-burner gas range and oven (for gourmet cooking, gas is the only way to go), toaster, blender, a good set of knives, plus pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, saucers are included ... everything you need to cook up a feast. And if all you need is a great cook, we know a good one. The kitchen in the main house includes a service counter, where two can sit for a quick bite. Next to the counter is a beautiful, glass-topped table with seating for six. The top of the table rests on a large, copper kettle.

From the dining table, you also have a view (through the big arch of the door and across the terrace) of the sea. When the afternoon sun makes the terrace too warm for lunch, the dining table provides a cool, shaded spot for the traditional mid-day meal without giving up the mountain breezes, the spacious feel of the terrace, or the view.

The living area of the villa is spacious and airy, taking an entire half of the upper level. Three walls sport large, arched windows through which cool breezes flow. The ceiling is high. It enhances both the spacious feel of the room and the the surround-sound video system. The DVD library includes almost 100 movies. Beneath the three large windows are built-in couches with lots of soft, cushy pillows.

Also in the living area is the telephone. And unlike some of the hotels in Puerto Vallarta, local calls are free. So make those dinner reservations, get information on adventure and eco-tours, or call a cab for the three minute ride into town. We do our best to make it easy for you to get the most out of your tropical vacation. We even provide basic information about tours, restaurants, shopping, and other things you'll want to do while you're here.

Vaulted beam ceilings, natural stone, and jungle hardwoods set the tone for this, the only bedroom on the upper level. Located away from the noise of the pool and bar area, you'll enjoy the romance of this private hideaway.

The room is comfortable, with a large, four-poster, king-size bed, a small bench under one of the windows, and a huge closet. A safe is also located in the closet. The bathroom for this room is equally romantic with large lighted stars hanging from the ceiling. Bedside lamps provide a comfortable reading light, and with the air conditioner on remote control there is no need to leave the comfort of your bed to turn either on or off.

The position of the two windows in this room allows cool ocean breezes to pass through the room, keeping the room fresh and comfortable.

The Palm bedroom

This a truly special place. It's a simple room with a king-size bed and private bathroom. There's a table, a lamp, a dresser: just what you need for a good night's rest or a delightful afternoon siesta.

There are windows on two walls of the bedroom to ensure a cool evening breeze. And if it gets too warm? This bedroom, too, is air conditioned.

The Poolside bedroom

This the most spacious of the five and has a king-size bed. One of the best features of the room is the big, arched doorway. True, there's a "normal" doorway, too. But throw open the louvered doors, and suddenly the patio is your bedroom (complete with pool and bar).

Two screened windows face the bar, and air conditioning provides backup just in case the breeze quits. Last but not least, the Poolside bedroom has it's own private bathroom.

The Shell Bedroom

This bedroom offers some of the best views on the property. A king-size bed provides plenty of space to spread out and relax. This room includes a private balcony that overlooks the lush tropical garden. This room shares a bathroom with The Sunset Bedroom.

The Sunset Bedroom

Overlooking the garden and palapa this room is the perfect spot for them since it is located next to the Garden Bedroom. A passage way connects both bedrooms through the shared bathroom.

The Palapa Bar

There's nothing quite like having your own private bar. We provide the bar (and the bartender, if you so desire). You stock the bar (and pay the bartender, if needed). Of course, you also reap the rewards. Tequila sunrises, margaritas, frozen daiquiris, piña coladas, mai tais, planter's punch... it's pretty much up to you. Maybe you'd rather pick up a bottle of añejo tequila (aged in oak...the best in the world) and just sip it. Or is a juice bar more your style? Vallarta is filled with tropical fruits.

The bar is a simple L-shape with a sink and a refrigerator to keep things cold while you're mixing the drinks. The four seats at the bar are for the hardcore crowd; the mellow bunch can sit at the table and chairs in the back.

The garden runs along the open south side of the bar. To the west is the pool and the setting sun. Above you, a classic palapa roof reminds you that this is, indeed, paradise. Take a dip in the pool, relax with a cold beer or a freshly made limonada (the Mexican version of lemonade). There are no sunbaked tourists, no screaming kids (unless you brought your own), no vendors trying to sell you trinkets. This paradise is all your own.

Short stay exceptions: Rentals relating to Corporate events/wedding/films please contact the relevant Villa Getaways agent to ask the suitability of this property.
