Formerly the art studio and residence of Adrian-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpes in the First World War, this national treasure is home to more than 80 original paintings, priceless artifacts and historical remains he used to own. But it’s more than just another museum. It punctuates the development of the arts in of Bali. LeMayeur, a Belgian native, introduced Sanur to the world through his brilliant paintings and exhibitions.
