The stately entrance, picturesque landscape and palatial homestead; Villa 5464 transports you to the tranquility and romance of the French countryside. Behind the ochre façade and climbing vines are two vast levels of exceptional French provincial inspired interiors. Exposed timber beams, large open fireplaces, ornate ceilings, columns and splendid antique furniture combine for a truly opulent experience.

The authentic farmhouse kitchen houses a carrara marble counter with gold gilded details and sits next to the main dining room.

You’ll certainly have a memorable dining experience in this light-filled space with dining for up to ten guests, garden views and dramatic antique crystal chandeliers overhead.

The property has seven bedrooms in the main homestead. French-inspired styling extends to each of the bedrooms in the main house. In fact, these are dreamy retreats, complete with garden views and sumptuous ensuites. There are 3 additional bedrooms in a workers cottage, however these are only for additional support guests such as au pairs or assistants. There is an additional cost for using this accommodation and must be requested at time of booking.

Manicured gardens surround the home and multiple outdoor zones cater to serene dining and lazy afternoons. Lunch under the vines in the courtyard or wander down to the garden lake at nightfall for unforgettable views of the night sky.

A barn with fire pit and pool table will provide hours of entertainment, while there’s also olive groves and a vineyard to admire.

• Admire an array of stunning private gardens or take in the splendid scenery with a bike ride through national parks or perhaps a stroll along the Box Vale Mine walking track.
