Seminyak Villa 3292

Stepping stones over a traditional Balinese fishpond welcome guests into this bright and spacious villa. From here, a pathway passes by the master bedroom and the 8.5 x 3.5m swimming pool to reach the large air-conditioned lounge, kitchen and dining area. A wall of bi-fold doors transforms this room from indoor to outdoor living in a matter of seconds. There is ample seating for guests to relax and read a book or watch television and the dining table, which overlooks the swimming pool, seats six. The lounge room also looks out onto a lovely tropical garden.

Villa 3292’s bedrooms are tastefully themed and decorated in shades of red, brown and orange. The king-bedded master room overlooks the swimming pool and garden and has a jacuzzi tub in its ensuite garden courtyard bathroom. The second bedroom, which is also king-bedded, is surrounded by a lush tropical garden with an ensuite bathroom featuring an outdoor shower and indoor bathtub. Next door to bedroom two is a study which can also be used as a third bedroom. This room is furnished with a queen-size bed.

A balmy tropical breeze greets you as you ascend to an upper level at Villa 3292, where a covered balé featuring comfortable couches provides another marvelous space for outdoor living and relaxation.

Dining

Each morning guests at the villa compound will be treated to a complimentary breakfast delivered directly to their door. Go for a healthy start to the day with muesli, yoghurt and juice or eat local and choose from a mie goreng (fried noodle) or nasi goreng (fried rice). If that doesn’t take your fancy there’s always the continental breakfast, or ask the chef for organic eggs cooked any way you like with bacon and sausages.

Guests may also wish to try the famous barbecue featuring chicken wings, garlic prawns, pork satay and seafood delights such as clams, lobster, crab and squid. Or gather friends and family together for a traditional Balinese feast including mixed satays, pepes ikan, urap, and rice followed by the delicious traditional dessert of black rice pudding with coconut milk .

Those preferring to self-cater have a fully equipped kitchen in their villa and staff will happily advise on where to source the freshest and best local and imported ingredients. But with a multitude of world-class restaurants on the doorstep, dining out may well be the more attractive option.
