The Luxury Villa is carefully designed to respect the topography and landscape of the sloping site by use of a stepped design. The cross section and orientation and natural ventilation from sea breezes to cool the living spaces. Additionally, the villas very own own pool that further cools the sea breeze as it passes over the water and cools the underbelly of the luxury Villa. All hot water is heated from solar collectors. All rooms have ceiling fans, with air-conditioning and mosquito protection provided in the bedrooms.
Arriving at the house via the stunning antique wooden door, you first see the welcoming infinity-edge pool, positioned between two elegant columns framing the sea view beyond. A generous veranda offers an expandable seating area, which leads off the internal ground floor baraza area. Flanking the pool is a massage room on one side and a spacious shower/pool changing room on the other.
An internal staircase leads up to a large living room and dining verandah overlooking the pool as well as two ensuite double-bed guest rooms.Farther on up to the second floor where a beautifully proportioned, cool and gracious master bedroom leads off a private terrace, with incredible vistas of the sea and palm trees. A further double twin bedroom (both ensuite) furnished with traditional style beds for that authentic Swahili feel. An additional staircase that runs from the master suite up to fourth floor leads you up to arguably the best view on the cape. An airy and stylish roof top terrace provides the ideal spot to dine during day or night time hours and gives you a breath taking panoramic view of the tropical surroundings.
Also within the household is a fully equipped kitchen, staff quarters and a stunning garden dining pavilion.
