This Luxury Canggu Villa is a glorious garden estate barely 60 metres from Kayu Putih beach in Batubelig just north of Seminyak on Bali’s south-western coast.

Designed by internationally famed architect Popo Danes and served by a staff of ten, the 1/2-acre estate comprises the iconic four-bedroom Villa II, the two-bedroom Villa 2, and the one-bedroom Villa 3 – each with their own pool and private garden.  All three can be rented separately or together in multiple configurations, making the villa perfect for everyone from a romantic couple to a few families holidaying together or a group of up to 21 friends.

Villa Layout

Villa II’s traditional Balinese entrance opens onto a delightfully private walled garden.  Here, an open-sided living and dining pavilion with kitchenette provides easy access to the sun terrace and pool, set on manicured lawns surrounded by tropical blooms.  To one side is the sleeping pavilion where two bedrooms – each with its own ensuite bathroom and dressing area – open onto a shared veranda.

The living pavilion is formed from the four-pillar heart of a historic teakwood joglo from Java and its ornately carved ceiling is a treat to behold. Under a statement chandelier an all-weather rattan table accords semi-alfresco dining for six; meals can be prepared by the estate chef, or whipped up in the well-equipped kitchenette. Comfortable chairs invite afternoon siestas – though poolside sun loungers may be preferred by those seeking a holiday tan.

It is part of a 7 bedroom estate Villa 379 which can be rented separately based on optional bedroom usage.

Staff: It is essential to acknowledge that the villa's staff is committed to serving the entire estate. Nonetheless, the villa team continually strives to fulfill the needs of guests through their services and works diligently to accommodate any requests made by guests.

Kitchen: The villa is equipped with a single main kitchen. However, guest meals are stored in a designated refrigerator. Furthermore, due to equipment limitations, meals other than breakfast cannot be prepared in alternative kitchens.

The Locale

• The Luxury Bali Villa is the very last private residence on a small lane leading to Kayu Putih beach; just a small temple shrine stands between the villa and a small lagoon, over which a walkway of reclaimed timber leads to the kilometres of sandy beach.
• La Laguna, a popular restaurant and sunset bar, is a hop and skip away, Mozaic Beach Club a five-minute stroll along the sand; even W Hotel, Potato Head and the famed bars and restaurants of Seminyak are only a 15-minute walk from the villa.
• A five-minute stroll inland brings you to an expat-focused supermarket and gelato stop.
• This is an amazing location, right on Seminyak’s doorstep yet with the peace and quiet of a far more rural setting.
